Gary 11 months liao

So long never send report on Gary's development.....Poo Daddy started to make complaint :(

Gary stayed with his grandpa and grandma during my trip to HK and China, i only able to see his cheeky face thru webcam during conference with my PIL every nite, he did not recognize me thru the pc screen, but busy on pressing the keyboard and pushing the button. He knows very well now the on/off button, each time you bring him on the desktop, he will push that button and the pc starts shutting down, and i will like "Grr.....Grr...."speechless.

Ok, get back to my main point.

Gary just had his 11th month birthday last week, his daddy sand him a birthday song and he looked a the pc monitor and smiled at him...so cute.

After 2 weeks training at PIL house, he able to take 7 oz milk, i was amazed when i heard this from my Mother in law, the trick is to get his attention by singing him a song, let him watch TV and make funny funny face...My son is like a big boss, he needs entertainment while having milk.He is still very "tam chiak", when he see people eating, he will slurps...and ask for his share....His favourite is grapes...He will not reject anything that can put in his mouth, except milk....this one need to depends on his mood, :(

Mobility, he can walk now with chairs...He pushes chair in order to bring him around....He climbs on stairs...pretty fast....and we dare not leave him alone in the living hall now, one minute before you see him, next minute he is already on upstairs.

He has 4 teeth at his lower jaw, and 2 giant teeth on upper one....really really big teeth, he looks so funny when he laugh. He doesn't speak yet, he only calling people by "ah",or scold you also "Ah".

His favourite game is driving, well trained by my PIL, each time we go out, he will stand on PIL in law laps....and start turning the steering and pushing all other buttons, As if he is F1 driver... LOL!

My Holidays - Part 3(Zhuhai and Macau)

We took a ferry trip from Shenzen -Shekou (蛇口)to Zhuhai (珠海). The entire trip is about 1 hour, transportation in China is quite expensive, costs us RMB95 for single trip, imagine it's only 1 hour journey. I think we can get cheaper price in Malaysia.

Environment in Zhuhai is more organized and clean i would say, while waiting my friend to meet up, we had a little shopping at Gongbei shopping mall (拱北地下商場), this is the most happening place in Zhuhai, and it's the nearest link to Macau, both places are separated by few minutes walk crossing the Barrier Gate .

My friend took us to a Chinese Restaurant to have Dim Sum for light lunch at Gongbei, we had great roasted pigeon (乳鴿), and it's cheaper compare to Hong Kong. There is not much activity can be done than shoppping in Zhuhai, so we shopped whole day, hee.... hubby dared not complain...

The next morning, we said goodbye to Zhuhai after breakfast , it's only 10 mins journey to Macau from my friend's house. We took a ferry ride Wanzai (Zhuhai) to Macau by Yuet Tung Shipping via Macau Inner Harbour Terminal. Arrived about 10am at Macau, and the streets are still quiet.

Macau is a fascinating place to just walk around as the place is packed with churches, temples, fortresses and other old buildings bearing an interesting mix of Portuguese and Chinese characteristics. You can easily access to Ruins of St. Paul's, St. Dominic's Church
along Rua de São Paulo (新馬路). oh Ya, there are still widely use Portuguese language in Macau.

Ruins of St. Paul's

St. Dominic's Church

Of course we did not miss the theme of Macao - Casino Lisboa. How to descibe this place? I would say it is stood up on it's own in the city.Too bad we missed the night scene, but i'm sure i'm going to make another trip to Macau, to visit Vanetian City. :) It is too rush with this half day tour in Macau, so we did not explore into Taipa Island....

There are variety of games , including baccarat, blackjack, roulette, boule, "big and small", hundreds of the most glittering array of slot machines anywhere, I also see game tables called " fish, prawn ,crab", but do not know how to play this.We did not try our luck of fortune, maybe next time...

Oh Ya, if you are backpackers, a tip for you ....You may deposit your luggage at lower ground floor of Grand Lisboa Casino, it provides 24 hours luggage deposit service to guests.

About food, so shame to tell that we did not really try the famous food in Macau, we were too full after the Dim Sum breakfast at Zhuhai. Along the way from Rua de São Paulo 新馬路 to Ruins of St. Paul's, there are a lot of food stalls selling Pork Chop bun, famous Portuguese specialty "Pastéis de Nata", little egg tarts, almond cookies...and dried meat. You will have a chance to taste free food from shop to shop. The shopkeepers all stand in front of the shop, one hand holding a pair of scissors, the other hand holding a piece of dried meat, offering free testing to all the tourists passing by. If you want a free lunch to fill up your stomach, this really do... :)

We had a very light lunch in a fastfood restaurant, the pork chop bun tasted really bad...I can't recall the name of the restaurant, but is located is a 1 level up on the ground shops. Not much comment i can give on food, as we did not have much.

Take a ferry trip from Macau Inner Harbour Terminal to Shekou (蛇口)before nightfall, reached home about 9 something. We need to rest early as Poo Daddy need to work on the next day, and i have my own explore in Shenzen, yeah!

My Holidays - Part 2(Shenzen)

Finally arrived at Shenzen Bao Ann Airport, it really impressed me, as it's clean and new.So, my first impression to Shenzen are quite good.
I thought Poo daddy would already waiting for me at the arrival gate, but couldn't find this familiar face ...where did he go?I only heard "小姐,去那裏,要車嗎?“....i guess more than 5 people approached me to offer a taxi ride. What frightening me was they kept following me wherever i go...so i quickly call Poo daddy, he was at the other terminal waiting for me...Gosh, i arrived at the new international terminal...so he has to reroute here to pick me up. How i turned down all the people who offering me a taxi ride? I think everyone should take a note of this, just said " Sorry, i don't understand Chinese."in less than 10 seconds, these people will immediately walk away from you. See...Effective, isn't it?

The weather was super nice that night, i guess it was about 15 deg C, but very dusty, my very sensitive nose kept on sneezing. The roads are wide, 4 driving lanes...i think China government really good in ciy development, unlike us in Malaysia, always have road construcion when reach a bottle neck.
It took 40 mins to reach Hubby's apartment, so reached his home nearly 11pm, did not go out for dinner but cooked insant noodle to fill our stomach.Though the apartment is rather small (guess it's about 800-90 sq feet), but it's cosy...and well furnished.

Next day plan is ZhuHai and Macau.....

My Holidays - Part 1(LCCT)

I had my holidays during the company shut down period, started from 25th to 4th Jan, more than 10 days.Since having so many days off, i made a trip to China to visit Poo daddy, via Air Asia.
First time stepped on LCCT, and i was stunned with this low cost terminal. Well, no other words describe the best than "Low cost". It is crowded...dimmed...noisy and hot, I wondered if the air-con was funtioning. It looks more like a bus station than air plane terminal, maybe my expectation is rather high for "airport".
They do not separated the gates. When there is announcement for boarding, flight delays, calling for passengers.....etc, the whole floor can hear....Imagine if there are 2 announcements done simultaneously...u will never hear correctly and it's so annoying when the anouncement is made.
The is no information panel for passengers to check if the flight is on time...boarding gate...or delay. You can only see the destination info on the LCD in front of the gate, and this could be wrong if there are changes..Like my case, they have changed gate from P14 to P10, but never showed on the LCD in front of the gate.
I hate the chairs that provided are not comfortable, the back to back arrangement are too close, i don't like to have such close contact. There are rubbish everywhere under the chair. Thanks to those uncivilized people, i do not understand, there are so many dustbins provided, can't they just walk a few steps to throw the rubbish?
There are so limited shops, if i'm not wrong, there are only 2 shops plus one coffee station.i almost fainted when i saw there are only few tables avaible in the coffee station, and it's all occupied, where the hell i can go to spend my 3 hours transit time?if i were to know this i would have to bring a book to read....
At the end, i sat on the chair in front of the gate looking at people passing by for 3 hours...

Ok, boarding time annoucement made.....everyone rushed to the door. Gosh, those Chinese people from China.....pushed....squeezed .... in order to get to the front. I really want to say !@#!@#...

I really really hope that Air Asia can have seating arrangement according to ticket number instead of free seating. Everyone will be diciplined and not juggling to make sure they can have the best seat that they want. I read from the Air Asia Jan magazine taht they will provide service to pre-select seat. I think this is a very good news for frequent flyers.

My journey started with an awful experience at LCCT.......
