Gary starts his first step

Gary is 8.5 months now, just a brief update on his development. He is 7.8kg during his last visit to doctor, it was 2 weeks ago. Milk intake is still 5 to 6 oz, nothing more. He takes porridge 2 times a day, an adult rice bowl everytime.
Mobility- he crawls since 8 months, pretty good in using his arms and legs, like those army training...what is that call?He sometimes on all fours, but not dare to move his body with that.
He stands steadily with one hand holding on sofa or...table top.....and last week, he started to move 1 , 2 steps with hands holding on sofa.Hee...mame so proud of you!

And about my ear infection, damn it...still in pain..and can feel there is a lot of discharge in there. Doctor said no need to take injection , just continue the medicine and ear drops, but i still have 30% pain wor and feel itchy....Grrr.......will have follow up visit again this Friday.She asked me not to dig it again, but me...."beh tahan" lah, so itchy!!!!

Ear Infection

I can't believe myself get ill because of ear infection, my right ear started with mild pain since last Wednesday, and i thought this was no big deal and the pain will slowly go off, erm.....I was wrong, i wake up on Friday morning and found my right side of the face numbed, the pain get more serious than what i thought.
I requested the company in house doctor to write me a referral letter to visit an Ear Nose Throat specialist, and she did it for me. I went to a nearby hospital, did not opt for the most famous specialist in town, coz i really in pain and do not want to waste the whole morning waiting for my turn to see the doctor.
Dostor said i have serious infection and my ear is totally swollen, she can't even reach inside to see the drum....pretty bad ..huh..This infection may caused by my bad sinuses lately, my ears..got itchy...and me always dig my ear. ..bla..bla...She asked me to admit for 2 -3 days for antibiotic injection, and i refused. No, i do not want to spend my weekend in the hospital, what about my son? So after all the bargain, she agreed to give me oral antibiotic and i will have follow up visit on next Monday. If the problem do not get any better then i have no choice but to stay in the hospital...I pray very hard that i will get better and heal very soon :(
Today is the second day taking the medicine and ear drops, pain is getting a little better, i would say 30% improvement, but it's really discomfort with a ear plug inside my ear. (This ear plug was inserted so that the ear drops can reach the infected area better). I still on and off feel the pain like "bee sting"in my ear. I feel tired , a bit feverish and no appetite at all , this could be the side effect of the medicine.
How could this happened to me, Alex teased me..he said "Ya..u are a super mum, you can't not fall sick at all...or else no one will take care of your son!" I feel super duper sad......Hope everything will be fine when i wake up in the next morning.

Lunch in Continental Bakery

Today i had lunch in Continental bakery, .....Yeah, u are right, we had lunch in a bakery shop.
This is not an ordinary bakery, they are not selling only bread and pastries but also serve nasi lemak, spaghetti, soup and coffee...
I have heard people around me commenting how nice the nasi lemak, wanted to try for long time, finally did it today.
One serving of nasi lemak consists of 1 pc of fried kampung fish, one pc of curry chicken, some ikan bilis, hard boiled egg and ladies finger, and it costs me only RM5.50 with a cup of herbal tea together.Well, the serving is just sufficient for a lady, for guy maybe u can add a bowl of soup or...a pc of pastry, they serve very nice chicken pie too.

Some little update on my baobao, hee..hee...this blog suppose to note down his development milestone....but becoming my diary now :)
BaoBao changed his sleeping pattern lately, he wake me up every 6 to 6.30am, he will first roll to me....touch to see if i'm beside him...followed with a kiss with his forehead...i wonder why this stupid fella do not know how to use his lips....warm morning kiss to wake you up in the morning.
Did my hubby do that before?!!! Got ah?! Dear??? Mame forgotten liao :)
I'm teaching him "kiss kiss"...everytime before i kissed him i will say "kiss kiss"....But he is too busy to entertain me ....jia lat!

Baby sitter on half day leave

Today Gary's baby sitter need to take half day off to attend a relative funeral. I do not want to waste my annual leave into this purpose, so i asked help from a very good friend's mum, and she has no problem to take care of Gary for a day. Hooray!!!

I sent Gary to Dylan's house about 8.30am together with maid, he was still half awake, poor baobao ...his sleep always being disturbed in early morning. He first had a quick check (look around the house), actually Dylan and his family are no stanger to us..but maybe the last visit to Dylan house was 2 weeks ago, Gary needs to refresh his memory. LOL!

I accompanied him for a while then left to work about 8.50am....Then came back to him during lunch hour, he seems ok....and maid said he finished the whole bottle of milk.Good Boy!

It's a tiring day today, lots of work and a lot of rushing. I feel there is always rush in my life, everything i do ..i rush, like tomorrow is aleady end of my life :) I tried to learn to live my life slowly but this bad habit came back to me very soon. Those elderly said.....your life will be short if you live in hustle,i guess i have to learn to live like turtle.

First thing to learn stay cool, "Yoga" will help me , yeap.."Yoga". I re-enrol myself in yoga class,to stay healthily, i need exercise, i found there is a early evening class conducted in my company where i can join and still manage to pick up Gary before 7pm. But again, i need to rush....Oh, Gosh! How to avoid of rushing, rushing and rushing?! I hope i can be determined to attend every yoga class, well, i need to be thick face too as i will need to leave office 5pm sharp.....No more teleconference after 5pm....say "NO" to boss when he ask for meeting.

I brought Gary for his routine injection last Satuday, I'm indeed a kiasu mum, early 7.30am went to register so that we can be the first top 5 visitors. :) , I put down the registeration form on top of the counter coz nurse wasn't there yet.
There are still plenty of time for me before i go home to pick up Gary to the hospital, so i went to nearby wet market, bought breakfast for me and maid.....still got sufficient time to wander around at market.
Found there is a new stall selling "Teluk Intan Chee Cheong Fun", heard this long ago but didn't have a chance to try.....well, it's good time for me to have some, i bought 1 roll "Mengkuang hebbi" and "Gu Chai hebbi", later found that "Gu Chai hebbi" tastes better, will sure buy next time when i see him.

Again proven that i'm right, we were the second on patient list ....hee..hee... I do not mind to go 2 rounds to the hospital, this save us time from waiting in the hospital for hours, and Gary can catch more sleep , moreover i can have him bathed and fed before he has the injection.

But we still need to wait for about 45 minutes, Doctor Lim was late....

Doctor said Gary's development is pretty good and he looks healthy (erm..i keep my fingers crossed). He had his second jap of Pneumococcal vaccine, and my dear baobao....so happy to see Doctor Lim and his nurse, kept kicking his legs and laughed laughed. At first i worried that he will cry coz Doctor said this jap will be quite pain, so i tried to distract him by playing "peek a boo" with him...but this got him to more exited....and legs kept kicking and kicking, better stop playing this :)

Then this little fella were so keen on what doctor holding in his hands...."what is he doing on my lap?", so he pulled himself up from lying position....Oh My god, Doctor was injecting him, and he pulled himself up..I was so scared that he is going to hurt himself, my heart was pumping fast.

I didn't hear sounds of crying, not at all. My brave boy just been quiet and sitted up right from lying postion till the injection was done! I'm so proud of you, Gary!!! Even the doctor also praised our brave baobao :)

Oh well, this will be the last injection for you before 1 year old, next visit will be only blood test. I asked Dr Lim to include the G6PD Deficiencies check too, hope this is gone.....and back to normal.

Baby Photo shootings

Last Sunday, A friend of mine helped to take some family and baby photos.He suggested we go to Botanical Garden, we were there early at 9am....this was my 1st time to be at Botanical since married...and first family trip to be there.


To my surprice, Penang people are so healthy......a lot ppl jogging, morning walk.....at the park.


We are lucky too to see a few monkeys near the entrance, according to my friend, it's getting harder to see monkeys in Botanical Garden nowadays.



The weather was good on last Sunday, it was raining like dog shit for the past one week, as normally do during 9 emperors celebration. We are happy to see the sun shine again on that day morning.

Gary was quite cooperative that day and we able to snap some best shot for him...

Till we put a cap on his head.....he showed black black face and tried to pull down the cap.

So happy when daddy let him climbed on the trunk, he can be like the monkeys too..just can't swing swing...far like them. :)

Eeee..both mame and daddy's feet so dirty :P

It was fun ...and many thanks to Boay .....we like the photos very much and this marked a very sweet memory for Gary.

1 day Cameron Trip

Hubby was back for home trip last week, it was a nice ...warm holidays that we have had.

We went to Cameron Highlands on last Sunday, this was planned for months to bring Gary to have some breathtaking scenery and cooling weather. It could be due to Muslim fasting month, the crowd that we normally see was not there....well, i would rather said..it's quiet.....not many stalls are opened.

Gary slept all the way from Ipoh to Cameron Highlands, good boy.....like his father..sleep like a pig once goes into car :) I guess he is still too early to notice the environament..green scenery difference compared to cities, so overall it's mame and MIL were happy to see..flowers.....farms.

Strawberries are on cheap sales on that day!RM10 for 2 big boxes , all freshly picked!

Wearing new cap that i bought from Germany, erm..having his favourite Chut chut....

Before heading back to Ipoh, we dropped by my cousins farm....we were at the right time to be there coz harvesting season for Chrysanthemums and "Choi sam", we took some back...it was so nice and fresh.

First Blog Page

This will be my official blog now, actually this is the 2nd blog that i have created.Earlier one was created when i first delivered Gary, back to Febuary 08. I did not maintain it well guess what I'm serious this time :)

I frequently read other mummies' blog and i enjoy reading blogs. Oh, well, why not create one for myself, my mind is urging me to do so.....What's gonna be in my blog? Everything...my little bao2, my poo hubby, my life...my hapiness....and sadness....
